Growing a Rose plant from
seed is not a big deal but you must know few things like what kind of soil is
perfect for the growth of a Rose plant. And what will be the process. Most of
the people think that it is easy to grow any plant but I tell u it is not that
easy it looks like. In this blog I will tell you everything about growing new
plant from seed.

Things to do when you are planting a
Rose:---
Depending
on the quality of the seed it takes time to germinate and ready to sprout. The seed
may take four to sixteen weeks to germinate, sometime it varies on individual
seed.
Follow
the process of plantation and you will see your Flower is bigger in size and
look more beautiful.
Seed Selection:… Select
the Good seed from Rose Hip. Rose hip are the part of rose flower where seed contained.
It is also known as the fruits of the Rose flower. Take a fruit of rose flower
and let it dry in the Sun it may take 24hr to dry. Cut the Rose fruit easily
and get Rose Seed, and then select good seed from there. You must know seed
section depends on the flower quality.
First Step is Soaking the Seed:… After
Selecting seed there are two process of soaking these seed.
a.
Put it on a plate and
cover it from a tissue paper. I will tell you how. Take a plate and two piece
of tissue paper put one tissue paper on the plate and spread seed over there
and cover it from another tissue paper. And spread some water on it and the
keep it on moisturized place you can keep it in the lower side fridge and let
it be there for three days.
b.
Put the rose seed in to warm water temperature should be
almost 40 degree Celsius. After water cool down let it be there continue for at
least 6hr. and then put the seed out from water. Rose seed are now much easier
to sprout after soaking.
Second Step is Prepare Soil:… Soil
Preparation is much more important because if you will not prepare soil as per
requirement seed may not germinate. Rose need a soil that holds the moisture
for a long time but drains well. A Loam Soil is good for growing a Rose plant.
Take some Loam soil and some organic Fertilizer and mixed them well before putting
in a container. You can use Nitrogen fertilizer also to mix in your soil. Keep your
soil loose and like it can hold water for some time. Soil should be breathable
so that after sprouting roots can spread easily. Let this container be there in
the Shadow for few hours so that soil and fertilizer can adjust themselves.
Third step Putting seed in Soil:… Before Putting seed in soil press your middle finger in
soil for one inch almost and see how easily it can enter. Do it at six to seven
place in one container and then put Seed in the hole. Now cover hole with same
soil and spread some water over there. Remember you need to spread water do not
add plenty of water in the container. Only human need plenty of water for
survival plants doesn’t need much.
Fourth step is covering the container with plastic material and make
few hole in it so that air can pass through it. It will help your plant to
maintain the temperature needed for your plant. This can save your plant from
some external factor like bad thing which can destroy your plant. Keep your
container in the sun light for 5 to 6 weeks. Generally it takes five to six
weeks o come out from soil and shows its first flus of leaves. This time may varies
depends on season and rose category. After few days you can uncover it from
plastic.
Note:- Covering the container is not Mandatory
If you
planting seed in early spring season you may see its leaves on summer. It is
not necessary to watering every day until soil is moisture.
To See this you have to wait for few weeks and then your plant is ready for sowing. Generally sowing happens in the spring season but you can see it even in summer also.
